The Short Version
We collect anonymized usage data via Google Analytics. No cookies tracking your activity across sites, no personal information stored. That's it.
What We Collect
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this calculator. GA4 collects:
- Which pages you visit
- How long you spend on each page
- Whether you use the calculator and what results you generate
- Your browser type and device (mobile vs desktop)
- Your approximate location (country/region level)
- Custom events: when you complete a calculation, toggle tone modes, copy results, or click links
What We Don't Collect
- Email addresses or contact information
- Your test input values or specific calculation results
- Personal identifiable information
- Persistent user tracking via cookies (GA4 uses other methods)
Your Input Data
Anything you enter in the calculator (baseline conversion rate, traffic volume, etc.) is processed entirely in your browser. We never store, transmit, or save your inputs. Each calculation is fresh.
Data Storage & Privacy
Google Analytics stores data on Google's servers. We can only see aggregated statistics, never individual user data. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
This tool complies with GDPR and CCPA principles: you have the right to opt-out at any time.
Opting Out
If you don't want to be counted in analytics:
- Use browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger to block Google Analytics
- Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (though not all services honor this)
- Use private/incognito browsing mode
